PC Games and PC Gamers? Okay the game developing industry is indeed a big business. Game developers design games for different platforms and even multi-platforms. Having a game exclusively on a specific platform can mean more sales for that platform. In terms of hardcore games, the competitors are Xbox 360, PS3 & PC. All of them have multi-platform and exclusive games. Why do PC gamers have to wait months even a year or more for games. Yes they add new content and new levels (sometimes), but PC gamers have nothing to do while console gamers play the life out of their games. > Assassins creed, gears of war, the halos - halo 3?, mass effect just to name a few. Do you think this move shows that game developers are loyal to ALL their customers, or are they in just for the Benjamins. PC games do port to the consoles but, they are mostly rts games. I play some rts games but get my joy from fps racing and other action oriented games. Some rts's dont port to the consoles cause in some cases the issue is that there's some things you cant do with gampad instead of a mouse.

PC games trouble? hi guys.. i'm having troubles with my pc games. I successfully installed this game vice city but when i insert the play CD, a dialog box pops out saying i have to insert the play CD. I'm pretty sure i have the right CD in though.. I've installed and played this game before on my other PC that's why i'm pretty something wrong's happening. I also tried reinstalling the game for like 3 times and still no luck. I tried installing 2 other games and the same thing happens. What could be the problem here? Is it my cd-rom, operating system or what? Help plsss?

Old PC Games - Fish Game and Marathon? I'm trying to uncover old PC games I used to play as a kid (so they're from the 90s). Ideally I'd like to buy them on Ebay and see if they work on my current PC or, more likely, the older computer I have downstairs. One was Marathon, a first-person shooter game where you fought aliens on their planet. The other was a game where you picked a type of fish and went swimming around, looking for the food you could eat (depending on your type) and watching out for the predators you couldn't eat. Problem is, I can't remember the name of the fish game. Does anyone remember or know if they games would work for me at all?

Xbox360 Games Or PC Games? I know this is really a matter of personal preference but my question is, Would you want to buy BioShock on 360 or on PC? My PC can do DX10 and plays the game at full settings and looks amazing. (I’ve played only the demo) I’ve also played the 360 demo and it does look good but it does not look as good as the PC version. To me the 360 version looks kind of flat. It’s hard to explain. If you have seen both versions you should know what I mean. What do you think the advantages and disadvantages are? Another point for the PC version is there is always good cheats, God mode, all weapons you know, and now days for the consoles It seems like the good cheats are missing from the console games. I like to have fun in the game exploring everything without dying. If you were going to buy one and had the two options for what platform would you buy and why?

Pc games with really good graphics? Should PC games be made cheaper? You know how you hear that a new PC game is about to come out and then you read about what the minimum requirements are but you see that your computer barely passes so you spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars just to get it up to date so you can play that game to the best but after a month or so another new one comes out and all your PC again just barely makes the cut. But consoles that all their games can be played at the best quality for some reason have the same prices as most PC games.

Sports / Shooting Games - PC Games? Im inerested in some pc games. Mainly sports games for abit of fun, and then some action games. For sports, like tennis (topspin?),golf(pgatour),football(fifa07?),rugby,cricket.... Im not really into baseball or stuff like that. And for shooting, like Counterstrike, C&C and things like that. Are PC video games becoming hard to see by been more realistic and tons of effects? Hello all, i am currently having many troubles with today's pc games. Specialy with trying to see them visualy. In one game the units are so small and blend in with the terrain that it's hard to tell them apart and find them. In another game it's just plain dark, even if you get the brightness to 100% in game brightness 100%. In another game they have so much sprites and effects you can only see fire and explosions and not your units. So i ask the Viewing public, are you having the same problems? some of the games i played: C&C 3 Supreme Commander Half-life2: Episode 2 and others...

y r pc games so much cheaper than console games?? ive been looking at prices from pc and console and pc is about $10 cheaper if its a new game than it is on a console. why is this? my thoughts are that its because some games require you to have a good graphics card (gpu) so they are giving you some slack. heres an example: call of duty 4 modern warfare for consoles is $59.99 but for pc its only $49.99 please give me an answer

PC games?? I am looking for any good pc games. The games i like are puzzle, quiz and exercise games (just like brain train for nintendo ds) can anyone recommend any??

Downloading PC games. Can you then save to disc? My mother has Vista and wants to play Scrabble. We have tried earlier versions and they do not seem to play. We are not all that computer savvy and as she will not put her credit card details in on line I thought I would try and get her the game as a surprise via a download site via my PC...I'm on XP. Can you tell me what happens when you buy a download game online? Can you save it to disc? I have never tried as I was afraid that if you have a PC crash for whatever reason your downloaded games could be lost.So basically.. can I download Scrabble for Vista, can I copy it to disc and will it then play on Vista if I download to my XP... So many questions..... Thanks for the help all.

Great Online PC Games? Hey guys, so I want to buy some cool ONLINE PC games for my new laptop. I'm kind of new to PC gaming, but I want to get into it. What are some titles that still have a lot of people playing them online? I've heard from some buddies that they buy some games for their PC's but when they get online, NOBODY is playing them online. I don't want to have to deal with this. Any suggestions?

PC Games Crashing When Entering Full Screen? I have had a few PC games that are crashing once the game enters full-screen mode. Need For Speed Most Wanted and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare are two of them. This problem didn't begin until recently and I have contact the PC and Video Card's Tech Support to no help thus far. Has anyone had this happen or know how to solve this problem? I am running a 2.7Ghz Intel Celeron with 512MB RAM, 128MB ATI Video Card, Creative Sound Blaster Sound Card.

Voice Function for Online PC Games? Hey guys, just wondering what sort of headset I need to play PC games online so I can talk with my teammates. I'm new to the PC gaming thing...playing XBOX 360 for a while but want to get started on the PC. Are the headsets USB connected? Where can I buy them...like Gamestop or BestBuy?
