Xbox 360..?
I've been thinking to get an Xbox 360 for my birthday but i've been hearing people talking about the "red lights" on it meaning its a hardware failure and alot of people said theres broke alot and they had to replace it frequently. I really want an xbox 360 but i dont want it to break in a couple of months. i also heard that you can get an xbox 360 free from this site? www.onlinerewardcenter.com theyre asking for some information but will i really get it for free? can someone tell me please? ty

- If you're worried about your 360 breaking, then get the extended warranty when you buy your 360. MS gives you 1 year, and whatever warranty you buy, you add it to that 1 year from MS. Don't bother with those online sites because they're only true in theory. A few weeks ago, Best Buy offered a PS3 for free, but the catch was that you had to spend over 2500 bucks on a HD TV, Blu-ray player, games, movies, etc. Those sites work the same way. You have to spend a lot of money to get something free.
- The 360's that got the "red ring of death" were in the first few shipments. Mine came in the second shipment, and it just happened to me a month ago. Almost everyone got theirs repaired for free under their warrenty, but ours ran out. I don't think you should worry about that now, though. They have already fixed it. Also, the red ring isn't always a hardware problem. Sometimes it lights up for over heating or something else that isn't a big deal.
- Go ahead and buy the 360, it has at least a one year warranty on it, and you can purchase a longer one if you want. Microsoft will fix or replace it (Which Ever's Faster) and you'll have it in no longer than a week or two. They replaced mine for free. I don't know about online reward center, but i wouldn't trust it.
- i wouldent trust it but if u worried about it breakin..i know ones that wont break if u go to a game store like gamestop or eb games and if they have any refurbished xbox360s get one! my dads friend..said its best because its fixed with new parts so it wont break or have any problems i have had my 360 for about a year now and nothing has happened to it so get one that is refurbished im telliin u..hope i helped
- From what i here, microsoft fixed the red light error. I had one for only about a month and not one thing has happened to it. One piece of info, keep it in a room 78 degrees or under.
- I personally have gotten the 3 red light 4 times, but xbox customer service has always been great to me, and don't give me a hassle. If I recall correctly, they also renew your warranty if it breaks, so if it broke with one month left, you'll be bumped back up to a year.

- no u wont get a free 360 from that site and the reason for the red lights is probably them gettin the 360 when it came out which means they didnt get all the bugs out but now they dont break down as easily as before
- go ahead get the 360.the warrenty is now up to 3 years
