which pc games takes more than 256mb of video memory?
bc that way i can just buy the bfg nvidia geforce 7950 256mb pci express card.if there is a pc game that takes more than 256.then ill save my money to buy 512mb of video memory.halo 2 on pc takes 128mb of video ram.halo 3 on pc might take more than 128mb video ram.halo 3 will be on pc later in the future. and that way i can play most of all pc games.right now im running a bfg nvidia geforce 6600 oc.if i do get another card then no more upgrade.let me know what i need.thanks guys.

- To tell you the truth with 256 video memory you can play everything perfectly already. The 512, I assume you're talking about the 7900GTX, is not that great of a deal nowadays because it's still quite pricy knowing the fact that 8800GTS costs about the same. What you want to do,though, is to get about 2GB of RAM, which speeds up gameplay and load time and RAMs are pretty cheap these days if you dig around enough. If you want to upgrade now as much as you can to last you the longest while, you may want to look for graphics card that are DX10 capable. In about 4~5 years, most of the PC games made are made for DX10 only and DX10 is so different from previous DX versions that only new cards can run it. Best of luck to you!
