- hey there, depends on how much you want to spend, here is my current configuration: 2.13ghz core 2 duo 2gb ddr2 ram nvidia 8800gts ddr3 video card! 160gb raptor hdd intel lga 775 sli ready motherboard and it runes ant game perfectly!!!
- Ok are you going to build it for yourself or go through dell? I'll guide you through each choice. In order to play games on high nowadays you only need to spend about $600 on the Desktop (excluding the monitor and accessories) Option #1 Build it yourself. It is a fun but non-forgiving project that requires patience and knowledge or at least access to knowledge, Here is a build for you: Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147030 MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128034 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103751 Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231098 GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102034 Vista: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116196 Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136113 CD/DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135151 And that is enough to play MOH airborne maxed out. Now if you dont want to build your own computer, and would rather pay a little bit more to have it all done I'd reccomend this configuration. http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=DDCWGC2&s=dhs now as you can see this is more expensive, it will have a lesser GPU and CPU and will probbely be able to play MOH on medium, but it also has a LCD monitor, keyboard and mouse. Its up to you, my recommendation is the custom computer you build yourself.
- so think what to do next
- It depends on your budget. But for $ 2600, you can get: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2 GB DDR3 RAM (1066MHZ or more) 320 GB 7200 RPM HDD Power Supply (Must be able to power what you've chosen) Case CPU cooler 2 X nVidia 8800GTS (320 MB) based graphics cards (SLI) Motherboard that supports all this Moniter (22 inches, good resolution and all) Mouse Keyboard Speakers Creative Xi-Fi Sound Card And assemble it (EASY, dont worry). I'm letting you chose some brands, etc. And it'll handle any game on hi res
- You don't need something too expensive. PC Configuration: AMDx2 (dual core) processor 2G RAM 60G Hard Drive (should be enough, I've never used more) 8500GT 512MB x2 Be sure to have plenty of cooling also. You can get away with fans in your PC if you don't mind a little bit of noise.
