I do not know if this phenomenon is present in other places, but in Philadelphia it has been rampant from my experience. I have arcade machines which I have been trying to place in places like taverns and pool halls. When I call on the phone, people hardly want to even hear what I have to offer, let alone let me finish my sentence. When I go in personally into their establishments, most people usually won't even look at what I am showing them. I want to ask, how does the economy work that these people are so reluctant to do anything new or try something innovative? After all, some of these businesses probably started from nothing themselves, so I don't see how now they can be so cold towards someone who is trying to make money in the same type of field. Could someone please tell me what I can do to survive in this business, because I never thought that mostly everyone would act so coldly to me, since some of them were in the same position when they started? Thanks for any help.
