xbox 360.....................?
tonight i got the 3 red lights on my xbox for the 3rd time and finnaly it wont work again. so i called the 1-800 number and talked to this really cool japanese dude that likes the utah jazz but he says it like, utah joz. <thats cool. yea so he said he is gonna send me a prepaid box to send my 360 to him in and they will fix it in 3-4 weeks. is this a good idea? what are other ways to fix it. o and he is sending me a free gold membership for xbox live. O and he said he couldnt afford a 360 and i told him that they should give him a free one and he laughed. ok yea should i send my $400 machine to them?

- Would you rather have a worthless non working Xbox 360, or send it for the chance to get it fixed and sent back to you.

- I recently read on gamespy.com that Microsoft has extended not only new purchase warranties but everyones warranty with an xbox360 to 3years...due to the swarm of red light problems they were having...who knows they might even replace your whole system since its messed up 3 times the system is a lemon ...but maybe they are trying to compensate for that with the gold membership ...who knows either way send it in don't do something stupid.
- It's fine, you called the official Microsoft number and will not be incurring any postal costs. Plus they will give you a receipt so you have a record. It's safe enough, plenty of people have done this!
- Now this is something I wish Sony would do with their faulty PS3s...
