Public Comments
- of cource......PS1 and PS2 games are compatible wit PS3
- yes they work the same..
- only if you have the 60 or 80 GB models, the 20GB does NOT support backwards compatability!
- DUH
- Yep defiantly.
- Depends on which PS3 you have.
- PS2 games work on the 20GB, 60GB, and 80GB PS3, but PS2 games do NOT work on the 40GB PS3.
- Yes i have tried it. choose me as best answer pleeeeeeeez i have just started
- yes but if you want to save stuff you need an adapter
- i do not have a ps3 but i know that ps1 games work on ps3 games so i would say yeah
- Only the first ones with bigger memory. The newer ones don't work with older games.
- only the 80 and the 60 gig version I think
- OF COURSE! Just simply ask yourself this...do playstation 1 games work on a playstation 2? yes! PS1 and PS2 games all work on a PS3. and so do blue-ray movies. Dumb***.
- You can play PS2 games on all of the PS3's except for the 40GB PS3.
- Yes they do but not all ps2 games
- Of course it does PS1 games work on the PS2
- Yes and no. All PS2 games work for the 60GB model and, the now defunct, 20GB model because the PS2 hardware was installed into those models. Most PS2 games work for the 80Gb model. However, the 40GB model does not play PS2 games at all.
- yeah they do
- duh
- It depends on which ps3 u got.. 60gb and 20gb plays some ps2 games but 40gb doesnt play any
- Yeah, EXCEPT the 40GB one.
- yes they do. u can transfer ur old memory with an adaptor. or u can start a new file and save it right onto the ps3 harddrive. i was told the 60gb and 80gb can play most if not all ps2 games. the 40 gb is less. and i dont think the 20gb supports backwards compatibility.
