Are PC games going out of style?
I just noticed that there seems to be more console games in the stores nowadays. In most Gamestop and EB Games stores I've been don't have and PC games anymore. Has there been any news somewhere that gaming companies are moving away from PC games? I'm just wondering whether it's worth upgrading my laptop to max for games or should I just put the money on buying a console?

- i think online game is what people are aiming for todays, pc online game and console games are starting to lean more towards online
- I'd say its a matter of preference. I think there will always be a place for PC games, but console games are a great alternative without dealing with all the special needs of PC games. If you play MMORPG games, then you will likely want to stick with the PC, but if you like playing games with a controller and generally play against other people on one screen then a console might be for u.
- No, there aren't many PC games anymore but there never really have been a lot. In the Gamespot near me, all you see is The Sims 2 but when you go into the Target near me, they have a LOT of PC games like RCT3, ZT2, Sims 2, baby games, pet games, and stuff like that. Gamestop stores are pretty small and there are a lot of console games out there and they won't have room for a lot of PC games, really. They need the room for PS2, GCN, Wii, Xbox 360, DS, GBA, Used games, etc.
- I personally think that PC games are getting too expensive. A solid gaming rig could cost you thousands, and a top of the line Xbox 360 costs you $450 and you will never have to upgrade it. I think that is the main reason. Also, many new PC games have serial codes, so they cannot be resold to places like gamestop or EB games, so that is why.
