Sony PSP 1.5 Questions about custom firmware?
I am thinking about buying a Sony PSP with firmware downgraded to 1.5. What exactly do I need to do to played backed up games on it. I have never actually touched a PSP before either... Do I need to buy anything extra such as the "pandora battery?" I want to be able to play backed up games without soldering anything inside of it. Can I use a Sony PSP Slim and make it play "homebrewed" stuff?

- The sony psp 1.5 is pretty much all you need to play backed up games (iso's/cso's). But I'm pretty sure you need custom firmware to run homebrew applications (ex. PSPtube, emulators, Devhook.) The most used custom firmware is 3.71 m33 currently. No you don't need a pandora's battery, but its reccomended if you plan on changeing you psp xmb (theme: waves, intro, etc.) because its possible you can brick your psp. I reccomend you read into the rest yourself so you know what your doing instead of listening to someone else. Oh and a website for downgrader/upgraders http://www.dark-alex.org/
