Playstation 3?
I am going to buy myself a Playstation 3 this weekend but I have been searching about to see what is actually in the box. I had an xbox 360 ant that had all I needed but I heard that the PS3 doesn't have a HD cable with it, is that true? So after buying the PS3 what else do I need to buy to start playing as soon as I get home? Many thanks for all advice!! :)

- Yes, is true the cable that ps3 comes is the same one as ps2, so is not a HD support cable. You either need to buy the HD cable(also work in ps2) or get HDMI/DVI
- You don't need the HDMI cable, unless you are outputting through an HD device (I would recommed you do though as it is brilliant)
- hdmi cable and a headset. that is it. unless u want a second controller than u can get that 2...
- It has everything needed inside, except HD cable needed in case you've got HDTV.
- Just the HD cable. You might want an emergency can of food in case you starve from not being able to leave the ps3. 2.4 update is also bringing the in game cross media bar, which means online will be better that xbox live!! You caht with friends during online play. Play your own music in games. Then you playing a game and you wants cheats, so you press the ps button and go to the internet browser, open gamespot or what ever and get cheats or hints or anything! - A composite cable comes in the box but if you use it you will NOT get HD. Buy an HDMI cable--this will give you HD video and take care of audio. If you have a separate home theater system buy an optical audio cable so you can run the audio directly to the home theater system.
