What are some tips on keeping your xbox 360 cool and not overheating?
I really want to buy a xbox to chill out with my rl friends on live. I've heard a whole bunch of overheating problems with the xbox 360's. Where should I put my xbox 360 on the carpet? on a table? Where?

- as long as there is nothing blocking the sides you'll be fine, the 360 is a good console it doesn't overheat unless you block all of the vents, i just put mine on the carpet
- well dont plug up the vents (thats what i did at first by putting it on a book shelf bad idea) its also nice to have a fan near it for thos long hours of gameing
- dont play it all the time then it wont overheat
- dont play it 2 much and buy the inter cooler or put ur fan next 2 it
- Dont buy a intercooler fan they're crap. turn it off if its hot.
