Is there any accessory for the Nintendo Wii to connect a SNES controller?

I don't like the classic controller because it eats batteries. I'd rather have a long corded SNES controller. Does anyone know of any way of connecting a SNES controller to the Nintendo Wii?

  1. Sorry you can't there's no available adapter to do that.
  2. No, there is none. Only the Gamecube or Classic controler
  3. I have not tested it and it costs about the same as a Classic Controller, but there are adapters for NES and SNES controllers. http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?categoryID=80
  4. There is none, but you can write to nintendo and see if they can/will develop it. They probably won't listen to you, but hey, its either that or buy a classic contoller.
  5. No, but you can by a Wii Remote charger. It recharges your Wii Remote so you don't have to worry about batteries. They cost about $20 for a pack of two at your local retailer.
  6. no, but i'm pretty sure they make wii controllers with wires. if not, invest in some rechargeable batteries and a charger. i just leave mine plugged in all the time and when im ready for some fresh batteries, they're there ready for me.
