How do I get music onto my Sony PSP?

I know how to get photo's onto it, but I need the directions to get music onto my PSP. 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on.

Any of the following file/media formats .JPEG[photo], MPEG-4[video], MP3 or ATRAC[music] 00.] read the following carefully and thoroughly 01.] insert the 32MB memory stick 02.] close the lid/cap 03.] power up the PSP 04.] assuming you've already did the initial PSP setup - i.e date, time etc. access SYSTEM SETTINGS and then press X 05.] locate FORMAT MEMORY STICK and then press X 06.] Do you want to fomat the Memory Stick ? Highlight YES and press X 07.] All data on the Memory Stick will be deleted. Are you sure you want to continue?
