Sony PSP- Need gamer help!!!?
I am a mom and a little outdated on the gaming world. ( i once beat Mario!!!) LOL Anyways, I bought my son a PSP today. My PC has 4 memory card slots on the front but wouldn't ya know, the memory card that came with the PSP, does not fit! So, my questions are: 1. do you need an adapter? 2. where do you find them? 3. do they have to be sony specific? and 4. anyone know how much it will set me back? THANKS!!!

- We just purchased a PSP, and I don't think you need an adapter. Just use the USB cord that came with your system. Now, the memory card has to be a PRO DUO card and yes it has to be a SONY only because I think it is the only one that will fit. Depending on the size of the memory a 1GB can cause you over a $100. Check out Ebay.
- Sony PSP's supports only Memory Stick PRO Duo cards, you can buy an adapter that will turn it into a Memory Stick PRO card which is longer in size. They don't need to be sony specific. You can get these from any electronic store for $50-100+ depending on memory size...alternativly you could just connect the psp to the computer with the USB cable provided when you bought it which is probably your cheaper option unless you want to have a bigger memory card.
- if there a slot for a memory stick or a memory stick duo or an usb adapter
