  1. as far as i know you can play it on any tv. graphics are probably better on a hd tv but thats no suprise.
  2. You don't need a HD TV for the PS3. Sony knows that most homes do not have a HD TV, so that's why Sony got cheap and just included the regular composite cables.
  3. The graphics will certainly come out better, but you'll probably be bankrupt by the time you buy them both!! Go for a Nintendo Wii, they're much more fun.
  4. Yes i Have A PS3 you can play it on a Regular TV but it looks better in HD.
  5. no you don't. in fact the PS3 comes with cables so you can hook it up to a standard TV. but it doesn't come with cables to hook up to a HDTV. people say it makes the graphics better. it doesn't, HDTV just makes the color more vibrant and stand out more.
  6. ok
  7. I play it on a normal T.V. and it looks great!
  8. You can play the ps3 on any TV I have mine plugged into my projector which is grate for driving games.
  9. the HD is just an option to play high definition movies (Not Games) you dont need a special tv and to be honest i don't rate hd tv the picture quality is rubbish compaired to original glass screens. lcd screens dont reproduce pictures that good they look good from a distance but close up you can see all the pixelations and distortions around the edges of text and objects. I have yet to see a good hd tv but i doubt if i ever will..
  10. i am the same put i allready have my ps3 and it works amazingly well just dont buy a hdmi cable you dont need it
  11. i have a normal tv and a HD tv and i have my ps3 hooked up to the SD tv it does look better than ps2 on the SD tv things are more shiny and texture though when i hooked it up to the HD tv so just buy the ps3 and hook it up to the normal tv :D just whatever you do dont buy a wii and im not biased but the graphics suck for a "next gen" console
