Playstation 3?
I am looking into buying a playstation 3. My question is: should i spend the extra $100 to get the 80gb or will the 60gb be fine?

- Really, the 60GB is fine, if you ever want a bigger HDD, say, a 200GB HDD, you could just install another.
- Yeah i have a 60g. You'll be fine, unless you like to permanently store game saves and downloads to your hard drive.
- 60gig is fine... You can hook external drives up and the ps will save downloads to it and access it just like the internal. The ps3 is not picky..300gig external drives are less than 100...
- well the 80 gb will not be able to do backwards compatibility but instead have this chip which emulates...i do not know the full detail so look it up...
- I have a 60gb and it is more than enough. I have 6 full length movies, about 150 songs, a few game demos and a couple of game trailers. I also have the Folding@home software installed on it. All of that has taken up less than 30gb. And like someone said earlier, you can always install a bigger drive if you want.
- i would say the 60 gig is fine. i have one and need no more. save the hundred bucks and buy an external drive later if needed.
- The 60GB HDD should be fine cause it only has bigger capacity but the same feature.. you can buy much bigger capacity i guess with $100.
- Get the 60G. You can always uprgrade the hard drive. Save extra money or get another game.
- The 60gb should be fine i wouldn't fork out the extra $100 as the 60gb is more compatible for playing your old ps1and ps2 games on
