Playstation 3?
I am going to the USA next month and I have enough money to buy a Playstation 3 ( and tax etc...). I would like to know when i bring it back to the United Kingdom, will it work and I be able to play it? Even though the USA use NTSC and Britain use PAL?

- in theory yes, you would be able to play BUT you would need to buy NTSC TV plus NTSC PS3 games......so wont be of much help..
- With the PS2, the console was not multi-regional, and games and the console had to be bought correctly for each type of TV. However, it seems that the PS3 is multi-regional, so in theory, u should b able to play it on english telly. However, i am not so sure about the games, being a multi-regional console should mean that the games are as well, but don't leave anything to chance when u r paying around £500 for a console and games, have a look at the PS3 website for other info and conformation: http://www.playstation.com/
- Just be patient and pre order now. pre order a PS3 from Argos or any shop which is selling a PS3. The PS3 are oppose to come out On 23 March.
- Buy one when they arrive in the UK I doubt Sony would honour the warranty if anything goes wrong as they have zero tolerance with imports. You wouldnt be covered under the european warranty for an Amerian unit
