Playstation 3?
Will the new Playstation 3 that comes out Nov 17th be as big as the xbox was? I'm sorry I should of been more detailed. Yes I ment will it be as much if not more popular.

- Do I think it will? Yes. Do I hope it will? I guess so. Sony's profits where down 98% from this time last year. If the PS3 fails, they are in deep trouble. I don't really want to see that. If I'm honest, I think the PS3 will be just as big as Sony says it is going to be. It's an amazing next gen. console which as far as hardware is concerned; kills the 360 in every department. I think they are taking a gamble with the price, but I also think they are targeting an older market this time around. Only time will tell I guess.

- I believe it will be an even bigger event as the Playstation fanbase is larger than the Xbox fanbase. There's going to be a huge shortage of PS3s though - probably larger than the 360 shortage. The shortage is probably going to be a big news event on the 17th as there will be long lines, complaints that you can't buy one at a retail store anywhere, and the outrageous prices for PS3s on ebay. Sounds just like last year with the release of the 360.
