Nintendo Wii?
Wii ushers in a new era of gaming for everyone, thanks to a revolutionary new motion sensitive controller called the Wii Remote. The console which can stand vertically or horizontally will be available for less than $250 bucks! The Wii will handle both full size Wii discs and mini GameCube discsand the Wii will have downloadable access to 20 years of fan-favorite titles originally released for Nintendo 64 as well as a "best of" selection from Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx. The built-in WiFi connection and included Connect24 ensures constant updates from the Web even when the power is turned off! What do you people think about it? I think that a lot of people are going to buy the wii because of the old games that they used to play before.

- not as cool as the ps3
- NES SNES games also avalible.
- One word: Crap! The idea of a motion sensitive controller is good but it's also completely stupid, because we all know we have bastard friends who will come into a room after your 7 hours on some crappy game and then bump the controller and then laugh like an idiot. What the hell kind of high end gaming console sells for AUD$250 brand new? If it's not AUD then get the *uck out of answers.com.au. Wow, backwards compatability on most of Nintendo's $hitty games, THAT'S FANTASTIC.....not. Nintendo should just quit now. As for the last ditch effort by shoving in a Wifi connection, that's sad.
- I think the wii is going to rocK!! i been hearing by adults that i know and they like the wii cuz it has the old games and i like it too the other consoles might be powerful or better graphics but hey its going to be alot more fun than the other consoles.Plus their coming out with a viarity of games. Also its going to be less than 250 dollars why buy a playstation 3 or xbox360 when i already have a computer i WANT A GAMING CONSOLE NOT A COMPUTER so maybe the ps3 is the right choice...
- I want to get a Wii. While the ps3 and xbox 360 have some pretty good games, i get tired of pushing buttons to do stuff (except on fighting games). Sure, you get used to pushing buttons, but here, you can actually do stuff just by moving the controller. Fighting games i understand though. Take Red Steel for instance, what fun would pushing buttons be when you could act like your using an actually sword. The Warioware game will probably be the one that uses the Wii different styles of control. While i want to get the Wii mainly for the Super Smash Bros. game (which looks awsome so far), i really want to try some of the motion sensor features on the other games. Also, on the WiFi note, how fun would it be to own people all over the world on Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Or get that satisfying last goal in Super Mario Strikers? Those are just two of the many Nintendo games that have WiFi. Ok, now that i have discussed everything else, i will comment about the "older games." I have always wanted to play Super Metroid and the original Sonic games. Those two are the top to games i have wanted to play from the older generations without buying a whole new system. Now, i don't have to! I like that :-) Well, that's all i have to comment on.
- 2 reasons: PangYa, and SSBB PangYa is gunna rock on the Wii!! If only I can figure out how you are supposed to tomahawk and cobra on the wii...
- i understand i used to play the legend of zelda the orcana of time for the n64 and is the best rated game of all time it's perfect for the wii to have this legendary game i played video games for a long time i wish the wii also has atari games like pac-man or mario bros but let's hope so
- It's awesome. It's going to be the best console since the PS2. The wii will be released on November 19th.
- Here's the best blog by far in support of the Wii: http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=7455690&publicUserId=4549175 It's awesome, check it out!
- Just because the ps3 is more expensive that doesnt mean that its better. Look at the psp and nintendo ds. Psp costs way to much and most of the games suck. And even if you find a good game the controlles suck. The ds is a way better console! Its cheap, its fun, and its also inovative. When it all comes down to it are you playing games to have fun or the have a visual orgasm? Same goes for xbox 360, its just better graphics.. nothing new. Plus the production costs are going to be much higher on the ps3. Games for the xbox360 are like $70 and the ps3 games are most likely going to be $80-$100! With the wii you get 25 games at launch.. internet connectivity out the box.. and a totaly new gaming experience. You will get something different not just upgraded hardware!
- In line. Day 1. Slightly disappointed after this week's announcements. Was hoping for a lower price and sooner release--but coming out two days AFTER the PS3 is a ballsy move. And the thought of a pack-in game was a pleasant surprise. Outside of Zelda, the launch line-up is just kinda meh. Excite Truck and COD3 (and, possibly, Marvel Ultimate Alliance) are maybes at best--however, the little system that could's future looks bright and I can't wait to frail around play tennis with my friends!
