2. I'm not 100% but I dont think you can, I went to buy some Wii points from Ebay and it said, "these will only work on an American Wii System"
3. No, unfortunately, you cannot. The Wii (unlike the DS) is region-specific, so you cannot play the British PAL game on your American NTSC Wii. (PAL and NTSC being the two main video standards in the world.) (Nintendo executive Perrin Kaplan stated last September that the Wii would be region free, but that changed before the Wii was released, which is why some articles that come up on Yahoo or Google say that it is region free. As previously stated, it is not region free.)
4. No the wii is region locked, though there may be ways around this, I'm not aware of what they actually are.
5. if you're thinking of buying a wii you should out this site first. they give you a nintendo wii for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.
