yes.. the nintendo wii...Why are the wii remotes so damn expenisve!!! i mean i got enough money for eveyting, but i mean come on, $40 plus another $20 for the nunchuck, it should be $40 all together, gosh nintendo....

- With all the sensors its costs large amounts of money to make them. I personally wouldn't be complaining about price-related stuff with the Wii at all.
- Nintendo has to make its money somehow... Seriously, the system is $250, and who knows how much money they are losing to keep the price at that. Like that other guy said, their new technology isn't cheap. It really sucks for the consumers when simple things like controllers can cost as much as a game, though. Heck, the wireless 360 controller is $50, and the technology isn't really that advanced in the first place. I thought that the Gamecube/Xbox/PS2 era was expensive, but this new one is freakin' ridiculous.
- Yeah I totally know how you feel. Nintendo said themselves that the nunchuck and the wiimote themselves are very "state of the art" technology, so thats why it costs so much. And yet ironically their hardware isn't exactly "next generation" when comparing to 360 or PS3! But don't worry though, I'm sure they will slash the prices within a few months, and maybe some 3rd party companies like Pelican Acessories will make their own versions for cheaper prices. hope this helps!
