Nintendo Wii?

Should I buy a Nintendo Wii soon or will there be a price drop or a new model by Christmas? I know that the other two consoles are doing price drops (Although I'm not sure if that is confirmed for 360) and I wanna know if I should get a Wii now or wait and see what happens with it. S buying the console now will be no different than buying it near Christmas most likely?

1. The Wii will only have a price drop, if the Xbox and PS3 start selling for $250. Nintendo is not targetting the same group of people as the Xbox and PS3, so I doubt Nintendo will do much other than continue to produce fun and innovative games. You may see some creative bundles during Xmas time. Definitely, you will not see a new model from Nintendo.

Wii wont go out of style tht quickly buddy boy. heehee. it will probably drop when ther release something new from nintendo. rite now its 250.00 for the console, 40.00 for each controller, 50.00 for the classic controller, 20.00 for every nunchuk, 10.00 for grips, 50.00 for games, Wii play, which comes with a free controller is for 40.00 just remember u dont need to get whatever is unecessary like the grips or classic controllers. but if u do want it knock urself out
3. well i just recently bought a Wii and I remember having to look all over the place and everybody would tell me that they were sold out an that is because its the summer so if you really want one I would buy one now

5. I remember looking at a photo of a Wii from a game convention (It might have been E3), There was a typical white one, but also a Black one! Unfortunately I have no clue when the black one will be released, I expect it to be around next year

If you look at the price of the wii compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 and how the wii is still being sold alot more quicker and is still harder to find/buy i don't think the wii will ever drop price until a couple months after christmas and if it does drop i doubt it would drop much at all because its already cheap to begin with. If you think about it when PS2 first came out it costed $250 and when you think of the Wii and how much better it is compared to the PS2, and how they both have started at the same price, I definately think It is worth buying the wii right now instead of waiting for it to drop price. But remember it's still hard to find them in stores so be patient if you want to buy one. Be Verrrry patient.
7. Get it now. There is probably not going to be a price drop for the Wii for a while because it is so popular. It will drop in price when not many people are buying them anymore.
8. I can't see them dropping the price any time soon - they can't make them fast enough. Why drop the price when they're selling quicker than they can make them? It's already cheap anyway...
